Hosting a Halloween get-together? Guests scan one QR code to add their photos to your gallery. Create your event

How Snapparty works

From setting up your event to saving the last photo, here's exactly what happens, for you and for your guests.

For you, the host

Six steps from sign-up to saved photos

  1. Create your account

Add your name, email, phone number and address, then confirm your email from the link we send you.

  2. Set up your event

Choose the occasion, give it a name and date, and write a welcome message guests will see. Decide whether photos appear straight away or only after you approve them.

  3. Pick a plan and pay once

Plans differ in uploads, upload window and storage, from £19. Pay through PayPal, with a PayPal account or any debit or credit card. Got a promo code? Add it here.

  4. Share your QR code

Your guest link and QR code are ready as soon as you've paid. Design a card in the card studio, order printed cards, or just send the link.

  5. Watch the photos arrive

Every upload appears in your dashboard with the guest's name. Approve, hide or delete, read guestbook messages, and choose which guests can see the whole gallery.

  6. Keep what you love

Open any photo or video full size to view or save it. You can still log in and see everything after the upload window has closed.

For your guests

About 20 seconds, start to finish

  1. Scan the QR code with the phone's camera, or tap the link you sent. The upload page opens in the browser.
  2. Take a photo or choose from the library. Up to 30 photos and videos at a time, each up to 50 MB.
  3. Add a name and a message if they'd like to. Both are optional.
  4. Tap Share. Photos are resized on the phone first, so they upload quickly even on busy venue wifi.
  5. Look back later. Guests can reopen the link to see the photos they shared, or the whole gallery if you've unlocked it for them.

Sharing your QR code

Print it, post it or send it

  • Design a card in the card studio

Choose a size from A4 down to 40 mm, portrait or landscape. Add your own text and photos, move and resize the QR code, and pick a background colour. Designing is free.

  • Download a print-ready file

Export your card as a PNG or PDF at 300 DPI to print at home or add to your own stationery. Downloading costs £2 unless your plan includes it.

  • Order printed cards

50p per card (standard) or 75p (laminated), minimum 10 cards, posted to the address you give. No extra postage charge.

  • Or simply send the link

Copy your guest link from the dashboard into invitations, emails or the group chat. It works exactly like the QR code.
